Feminist intersectional strategies and collaborations drive Ivana Marjanović’s practice. Marjanović considers curating as a form of knowledge production or, in other words, of interpellations, which means to consciously take a stance in an ideologically contested space. Through taking a closer look at examples of their own practices, Marjanović and Hoechtl talk about what it means to look “back to the present” and how feminist politics, activism, theories, and methods can be translated into making exhibitions and the structural work of an art institution.
