Two
bands of clear light bulbs are suspended from the facade
of
the Kunstraum building located at Maria Theresien Street
34
crosswise across the courtyard to the main entrance of the
exhibition space. The distance between the bands is 90 cm
wide,
which is the measure of an average door. In this manner, the
work
accentuates the access from the street to the exhibition.

| Transformation
No.1, 2000

Transformation No. 1 - a unique "fleeting" intervention - is only to be seen
on the evening of 21 March 2000. The images from three powerful projectors
- "Imagos" from the portfolio of so-called international architecture - create an
immaterial link between the cooling tower of the former Adambräu and the new
residential structures that have been erected on the old brewery
premises.
Mischa Kuball's intervention is a study of elements of everyday life - with
special reference to an icon of Innsbruck's architecture - and their subversive
urban power.
