Sheer
Frost Orchestra is a 12 person performative event with
electronic guitars in which virtuosity is rejected in favor
of
idiosyncrasy and the unknown. Musicians and non musicians
participate together and become practitioners making real
music
and creative decisions together. The event takes place on
opening
night at the Kunstraum and one week later at the Innsbruck
club
Blue Chip. Afterwards, participants from these two
performances
will continue the production of the piece at specified times
for
the duration of the exhibition, lending the performative
event
continuity.
