In Flag Production a few people of different cultural backgrounds 
and origins, who live in the urban Innsbruck area, sew flags for a 
non existing state within the actual space of the exhibition. The 
design of the flags is set by the artist, but somewhat provo-
catively recalls the colors and patterns of several different 
countries (Ireland, India or several North African or Middle 
Eastern States). Afterwards, the flags will be hung around in the 
city on private houses, implicating local residents into an 
elliptical creative scheme.
